PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collection bag for vacuum cleaners capable of preventing falling of dust by closing an inlet after collecting dust; and to provide a vacuum cleaner using the same. SOLUTION: This dust collection bag consists of a bag-shaped body formed of a resin nonwoven cloth having air permeability and flexibility, the inlet provided in the bag-shaped body, a support plate attached to the inlet and having a dust suction port, and a thread (a string) passed through the outside of the inlet and having both ends pulled outside the bag-shaped body. When disposing dust after the dust collection, the ends of the thread (the string) are pulled to narrow the bag-shaped suction port and prevent the falling of the dust. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
