A method, network and node device for data retransmission in network with double-layer. Management domains are arranged in the network, and virtual MAC addresses are allocated to the node devices in the domains according to predetermined convergent principle. An id which identifies the virtual MAC address domain of the node device is included in the virtual MAC address. When the network retransmits data, the node devices that are not convergent node devices encapsulate the received data with virtual MAC address, and send the data to destination node devices according to the retransmission tables of virtual MAC address. The present invention ensures that the ESP number of a destination device is not limited by the allocated VID number of PBT, increases the ESP number of a destination device, realizes 2⁶⁰labels in finite network space, and realizes P2MP, MP2MP, multicast and broadcast in the network.
