A speed reduction control apparatus in a vehicle is provided to prevent speed of the vehicle from being reduced under the predetermined level when operating a brake pedal by generating magnetic force to an opposite direction through first and second electromagnets when power is applied. A speed reduction control apparatus in a vehicle comprises first and second electromagnets(210,220). The apparatus is installed at a brake system(100). The first electromagnet is arranged at the lower part of a brake pedal(110). The second electromagnet is separated with a predetermined gap from the first electromagnet. When the first and second electromagnets are applied by electric power, electromagnetic force is generated to the opposite direction. A switch(230) limits the power applied to the first and second electromagnets. An ECU(Electronic Control Unit,250) compares the inputted speed of the vehicle with the desired speed of a driver. An ETACS(260) controls on/off of the switch. |
