PREPARATION METHODS OF DRUGS LOADED FUNCTIONAL SCAFFOLDS BY USING CHITIN AND/OR CHITOSAN

A method for preparing porous drug delivery type functional scaffolds using chitin and/or Chitosan is provided to produce the functional scaffolds capable of being loaded with a drug having an effective hemostatic effect and a wound-healing function. A method for preparing porous drug delivery type functional scaffolds using chitin and/or Chitosan includes the steps of: controlling pore size by dissolving chitin and/or Chitosan in a solution of lactic acid, acetic acid, or hydrochloric acid to provide a concentration of 1-10%(w/v), wherein the chitin and/or Chitosan has the degree of deacetylation of 60-84%, a viscosity of 5-86 cps, a number average molecular weight of 20,000-50,000, and a concentration 1.5-5.5%(w/v); pouring the filtrated solution into a scaffold-forming mold and freeze-drying the solution in a refrigerator at -20 deg.C for 24 hours; and removing the solvent using a mixed solvent of ethanol and water.
