<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the secondary coil bobbin of an ignition coil which supplies a high voltage to the ignition plug of an internal combustion engine of an automobile etc; to generate a spark discharge. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary coil is wound on a bobbin in layers in its circumferential direction. The secondary coil is wound on the bobbin in layers by flanges in its circumferential direction. The flanges are provided on both the ends of the secondary coil and a part of the secondary coil between its ends, and molded in one piece with the bobbin. A slit is alternately provided on the flanges to make the adjacent secondary coils open to each other. The secondary coil is wound on a section of the bobbin separated by the flanges, then wound on a next section passing through the slit, and then wound on the last section of the bobbin. The flanges are provided to make the adjacent second coils open to each other, so that an insulating filling resin member penetrates into gaps between the secondary coils through the open part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
