PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling method which enables a CCD tilt adjustment of a 3 prism unit without deteriorating the registration accuracy. SOLUTION: Prior to pasting CCDs to a prism, a CCD tilt adjustment is performed in the air. After the CCD tilt adjustment, the CCDs kept in a tilt-adjusted state are pushed against the prism and registration adjustment of the CCDs is performed. Then, the adhesive is hardened.
