PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical imaging apparatus capable of finding a deflection amount of a top board causing the lowering of an image accuracy. SOLUTION: This medical imaging apparatus 1A is provided with a bed 2 having the top board 5 on which a subject is mounted, an imaging section 3 executing an imaging operation for capturing a medical image of the subject on the top board 5, a resistor 7 which is provided on the top board 5 and whose resistance is varied according to the deflection amount T of the top board 5, and a measuring section 9 measuring the resistance of the resistor 7.
