PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of compensating the transmission of a speaker's intention. SOLUTION: Instruction data indicating the processing content of speech data is stored in an instruction data memory region 122 of a terminal device 1. A user of the terminal device 1 can update the contents of the instruction data by operating an operation unit 14, A controller 11 processes the speech data based on the instruction data. More specifically, the controller 11 determines the change amount of a pitch for every phoneme in such a manner that the deflection width of each pitch with respect to a prescribed reference value is amplified relating to the pitch for every phoneme of the speech data based on the value of the item of the "intonation" of the instruction data.
