PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate processes of a base station apparatus in the case where the space division multiplex process is repeated because communication quality is deteriorated after implementation of the space division multiplex process. SOLUTION: The base station apparatus 10 for conducting the space division multiplex process for a space division multiplex mobile station selected from a plurality of mobile stations during communication at the time of starting communications with mobile stations includes a communication quality information collecting unit 141 for obtaining communication quality information on the basis of the signal received from a communication start mobile station, a synchronization setup determination unit 142 for determining the propriety of the space division multiplex process for the communication start mobile station and the selected space division multiplex mobile station on the basis of the obtained communication quality information, and a communication quality information storing unit 143 for storing the communication quality information. The synchronization setup determination unit 142 determines, based on the communication quality information to be stored, the propriety of the space division multiplex process between the communication start mobile station and the space division multiplex mobile station re-selected in accordance with the denial determination result of the space division multiplex process.
