PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission which allows stepless speed chane and is excellent in the efficiency of transmitting power and mountability to a vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicle transmission for transmitting power from two drive shafts 10, 11 to a driven shaft 13 via a plurality of transmission mechanisms and switch mechanisms includes a first planetary gear mechanism 7 disposed coaxially with the drive shafts, a first motor 9, a second planetary gear mechanism 5 disposed coaxially with the driven shaft, and a second motor 6. The ring gear of the first planetary gear mechanism is connected to either of the drive shafts in such a manner as to be capable of transmitting torque. The ring gear of the second planetary gear mechanism is connected to the other of the drive shafts in such a manner as to be capable of transmitting torque. Sun gear shafts integrated with the sun gears of the planetary gear mechanisms pass through the first motor and the second motor along a central axis. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
