PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost needed for previous adjustment by correcting the measurement error caused by variation of span by a simpler calculation than before. SOLUTION: On the weighing platform 22 of the track scale 10 of this invention, along a progressing direction of the track being to be weighed the x-axis is set. Under the presupposition that the center of gravity of the track is located on this x-axis, the error correction is performed. In concrete terms, the error estimation equation for estimating the measurement error, when the gravity center of the track is existing from the representative position P to the reference position O on the x axis and the error estimation equation for estimating the measurement error, when the gravity center of the track is existing from the reference position O to the other representative position Q are introduced by the previous operation. At the actual operation, error correction is performed based on the error estimation equation.
