PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of improving heat efficiency and preventing dew condensation. SOLUTION: This heating cooker 1 comprising a heating chamber 20 in which a heated object F is placed, a detachable water tank 71, and a steam generating portion 50 to which the water is supplied from the water tank 71 to generate steam, and cooking the heated object F by using the steam generated by the steam generating portion 50, further comprises a heat insulating material 77 disposed between the heating chamber 20 and the water tank 71, an air heat insulating layer 78 disposed between the heat insulating material 77 and the water tank 71 for accumulating and insulating the air, and an air circulating layer 79 disposed at a side opposite to an air heat insulating layer side, of the water tank 71 to circulate the air.
