PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evacuation apparatus allowing an evacuee to evacuate along an evacuation side wall of a building to a ground surface outside the building. SOLUTION: The evacuee sits on an evacuee support belt 90 attached to a box 20 and rotates a handle 70 extended outside the box 20. The evacuee lowers along a rope 50, which is continuously wound around pulleys 40a and 40b hung to the eaves 30 of the building and the circumference of a rotary wheel 10 stored in the box 20 and is suspended to the ground surface direction outside the building, toward the ground surface in the lower part of the evacuation side wall of the building along with the box 20 storing the rotary wheel 10 while rotating the rotary wheel 10.
