A personal care product comprising: (a) a collapsible water-containing capsule having water encapsulated or dispersed in a first pigment component which is a hydrophobic pigment having a particle size of less than 1 µm; and (b) an applicator for applying the capsule on a personal care surface, wherein the surface of the applicator is made of material having open cells.
