NEW DIRECT COMPRESSIBLE EXCIPIENT BLEND

A method for making a pharmaceutically acceptable tablet utilizing a pre-mixed excipient blend is provided. A universal, pre-mixed excipient blend is mixed with an active pharmaceutical ingredient to form an active pharmaceutical ingredient blend. The resulting blend is then tableted to form a pharmaceutically acceptable tablet. The pre-mixed excipient blend includes at least one diluent, at least one binder and at least one disintegrant. The pre-mixed excipient blend has a particle size of about 80 to 150 micrometers.
