<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly judge a wet condition of a fuel cell without changing operation conditions to change moisture in the fuel cell and without undermining system reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A current density calculation part 20 calculates stack current density and anode outlet local current density from measured values of a stack current sensor 14 and an anode outlet local current sensor 13. An average cell voltage calculation part 21 calculates average cell voltage from stack voltage, a minimum cell voltage calculation part 22 calculates the minimum cell voltage from the voltage detected by a cell voltage sensor 17. A wet condition judging part 23 judges the wet condition of the fuel cell stack 2 to be either drying, cathode water plugging, anode water plugging or suitable wet condition based on the stack current density, the anode outlet local current density, the average cell voltage and the minimum cell voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
