摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for characterizing the spatial variance of a color separation misregistration by using a method contributing to a real time measurement by a low resolution scanning technique. <P>SOLUTION: A processor assembly 404 includes a calibration module 408 which decides the characteristic of a curve which corresponds to a calibration patch attached with a mark among two or more calibration patches and is related with a measured colorimetry value, generates a calibration function based on the characteristic of the curve, and provides an anticipated colorimetry value about a predetermined color separation structure relating with a misregistration characteristic value. In addition, the processor assembly 404 includes a measurement patch analyzer module 410 which decides the misregistration characteristic value corresponding to the measured colorimetry value corresponding to the measurement patch attached with a mark from a calibration function, and characterizes the misregistration of a first color separation to that of a second color separation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
