<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new decorative illumination device in which individual light sources can not be perceived from the outside, and which can effectively prevent large reduction in amount of light emitted to the outside, and further, can prevent polarization of light emitted, and as a result, can improve high grade feeling. <P>SOLUTION: The decorative illumination device includes a light source which emits light, a light transmission part 2 which is fixed to the light source 9 and transmits the light emitted from the light source 9, light shielding members 6, 7 which are arranged on both side faces of the light transmission part 2, and a light emitting part 3 which is formed at the upper part of the light transmission part 2 and emits the light L from the light source 9 to the outside.
