<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light source device capable of preventing a creak from being generated when an external force is applied under the condition where a light guide panel contacts with a frame. <P>SOLUTION: A side face of an inner wall of the frame is arranged opposedly to a side face, on the side face excepting an emission face of the light guide panel and an anti-emission face opposed to the emission face, and a side face of the frame is formed with a surface contact preventive means for preventing a side face of the light guide panel from face-contacting with the side face of the frame, or a surface contact preventive means for preventing the side face of the light guide panel from face-contacting with the side face of the inner wall of the frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
