<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine capable of maximally performing post-injection, while surely restraining oil dilution by the post-injection for regenerating a filter. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device 1 of the internal combustion engine 3 has the filter 8 arranged in an exhaust system 5, regeneration operation performing means 6 and 2 performing regeneration operation for regenerating the filter 8, a post-injection allowable quantity calculating means 2 calculating a post-injection allowable quantity QREF expressing an allowable quantity of fuel injected by the post-injection so as to increase in response to an increase in an operation distanceΔDIST of a transport engine V, a post-injection allowable quantity subtracting means 2 subtracting a fuel quantity QPOST injected by the post-injection from the post-injection allowable quantity QREF when performing the post-injection, and a post-injection prohibiting means 2 prohibiting the post-inject when the post-injection allowable quantity QREF is a predetermined first threshold value QLMT1 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
