PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic wastewater treatment method and its apparatus which can realize a compact apparatus configuration without using bioreaction treatment, such as an activated sludge method and a rotary disc method which are a waste liquid treatment method, easy in maintenance, and can improve water quality with high efficiency at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the organic wastewater treatment method, water to be treated is made to flow through a magnetic treatment device to combine fine dispersible suspended solids in the water to be treated, and then the combined suspended solids-containing water to be treated is filtered with a microfilter. A stream of the water to be treated passing through the inside of the magnetic treatment device causes friction between a number of granular magnetic materials accommodated in the magnetic treatment device to generate magnetism, which generates combined suspended solids. The combined suspended solids-containing water to be treated is filtered with a number of granular filter media filling the filtration container of the microfilter, so that the combined suspended solids are accumulated on the upper part of the microfilter as sludge.
