PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrostatic charge image developing toner excellent in electrostatic charge retention property under high temperature and high humidity conditions, particularly excellent in electrostatic charge retention property after being left to stand for a long period of time under high temperature and high humidity conditions, and capable of suppressing the forming of fog, decrease in image density and insufficient strength of a fixed image. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner contains a binder resin, a colorant and a release agent, wherein the binder resin has a cycloalkyl group in a side chain, the weight ratio of cycloalkyl groups in the binder resin is controlled to a predetermined range, and a specified release agent is used. Therefore, the present invention can provide the electrostatic charge image developing toner excellent in electrostatic charge retention property under high temperature and high humidity conditions, particularly excellent in electrostatic charge retention property after being left to stand for a long period of time under high temperature and high humidity conditions, and capable of suppressing generation of fog, decrease in image density and insufficient strength of a fixed image.
