PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental restoring material that makes a yellow to orange stain resulting from raw materials or impurities inconspicuous without deteriorating transparency of the material in order to satisfy requirement for whiteness of the dental restoring material and satisfies high aesthetic properties. SOLUTION: The dental restoring material includes a curable composition including (A) a polymerizable monomer, (B) a polymerization initiator, preferably a visible light-curable polymerization initiator includingα-diketones, and (C) a filling material, and the material contains (D) 0.01-1 ppm of a blue dye having a maximum absorption wave length within 575-680 nm, such as an anthraquinone derivative.
