PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin external preparation exhibiting excellent skin-activation (for example, tightness of skin, facilitation of blood circulation, or the like) based on actions of radium ore and yet giving a good feeling to use. SOLUTION: The skin external preparation includes a water extract of radium ore. The skin external preparation may include the water extract of radium ore as an emulsion with an oil component. The oil component may be one or a mixture of two or more selected from the group consisting of methylpolysiloxane, liquid paraffin, glyceryl tri-2-ethylhexanoate, isodecane and a modified cross-linked silicone mixture.
