PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor of small inter-individual dispersion of capacity and efficiency. SOLUTION: The compressor includes an intake valve 137 formed of: an intake hole 131 bored in a valve plate 19; an intake valve seat 132 formed in an outer circumference on a cylinder bore 114 side of the intake hole 131; and a thin plate intake lead 136 opening and closing a valve seat surface of the intake valve seat 132. The compressor also has a valve seat surface of the intake valve seat 132 formed lower than a pedestal surface 140 provided on an end surface of a valve plate 119. Since the depth of the valve seat surface of the intake valve seat 132 can be finished accurately by working, and stable spring force in an open direction acts the intake lead 136 under a closed condition of the intake valve 137, inter-individual dispersion of capacity and efficiency is made small.
