PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correct the remaining capacity of a battery determined by current integration or electric power integration. SOLUTION: A battery control device 7 computes the remaining capacity of a battery on the basis of either the integration of charge/discharge currents of the battery or the integration of charge/discharge of electric power. The battery control device 7 computes a first correction remaining capacity when a first prescribed condition is satisfied and computes a second correction remaining capacity with computation precision lower than that of the first correction remaining capacity when a second prescribed condition, which is more frequently satisfied than the first prescribed condition, is satisfied. When the first prescribed condition is satisfied, the remaining capacity based on current integration or power integration is corrected on the basis of the first correction remaining capacity by an amount of correction within a range not exceeding a first correction upper-bound amount. When the second prescribed condition is satisfied, the remaining capacity based on current integration or power integration is corrected on the basis of the second correction remaining capacity by an amount of correction within a range equal to a second correction upper-bound amount or lower which is lower than the first correction upper-bound amount.
