PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of performing screen printing on a large-sized article to be printed. SOLUTION: A printing plate frame 5 for a screen mask 1 has an undersurface 5b (a third face), a screen mesh holding part 12 for holding a screen mesh 2, a face 5c (a fourth face) different from the undersurface 5b, and a printing plate frame fixing part 13 in which a first contacting region being a part or the whole of the face 5c is fixed under a condition that the first contacting region is brought into contact with a printing plate frame holder of a printing apparatus. The position of the first contacting region at a cut face formed by cutting the printing plate frame 5 from the upper face to the undersurface exists at an upper side than the undersurface 5b.
