PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weeding machine weeding weeds growing on the surface of ground without depending on the kind of weeds, size of stems, degree of overcrowdedness, etc. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the weeding machine 1 which pulls weeds 71 growing on the ground by traveling forward, comprising a first roller 4 rotating forward centering a rotating axis 41 set horizontally in the right-angle to the traveling direction, a second roller 5 parallelly set on the rear side of the first roller 4 and rotating rearward, and the second roller 5 is installed on a position wherein the peripheral face of the roller 5 and the peripheral face of the roller 4 form a spacing capable of holding weeds 71, and the roller 5 has a spacing adjusting section 3 adjusting the spacing between the peripheral face 4 of the first roller and the peripheral face of the second roller 5. The spacing adjusting section 3 is provided with a temporal extending means 37 to temporally extend the spacing in a time when a force is added to extend the spacing between the peripheral face 4 of the first roller 4 and the peripheral face of the second roller 5, and an energizing means 37 to energize return of the temporally extended spacing to the normal spacing.
