<p>The stair has supporting surfaces formed between two step treads (1) and step risers (2) by pivoted joints that are extended in a longitudinal direction of individual stages and are tiltable perpendicular to the stages. One of the step risers with a lower longitudinal side (5) is supported on a rear longitudinal area (6) on a top side of one of the step treads. The step treads are made of wood and a side surface in the rear range is stationarily anchored with a carrying construction e.g. wall.</p>
