<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of safely and surely transferring photographed data to a desired server. <P>SOLUTION: A camera system 100 includes a first media-less camera 110 that becomes an authentication server, a second media-less camera 120 that becomes a client, and a file server 150. The media-less cameras 110, 120 includes authentication units 111, 121, first communication units 112, 122, and second communication units 113, 123, respectively. The file server 150 includes a communication unit 154, a data storage unit 151, an authentication unit 153, and a user attribute storage unit 152. The first media-less camera 110 substitutes authentication in the case where the second media-less camera 120 logs in the file server 150.
