<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial storage cell apparatus having both a voltage balance correcting function between cells and a cell protective function in overcharge without causing an increase in the number of components and in cost or difficulty in mounting. <P>SOLUTION: The multiple series storage cell apparatus has a voltage balance correcting circuit 31 having a plurality of storage cells B1, B2 connected in series and employing semiconductor switching elements S1, S2 to equalize a voltage between the cells. In the cell apparatus, a current bypass circuit for protecting the storage cells in overcharge is formed using the switching elements S1, S2 of the voltage balance correcting circuit 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
