<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring radio channel quality in a radio communication system. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, a modulated signal is received over a communication channel. The modulated signal has been modulated by using modulation parameters. A decoder decodes (305) the modulated signal and forms decoded data. The decoder creates a decoder performance indicator (PS) that depends on the decoded data.
