<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply presume a value about visceral fat with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: Parameters related to blood such as the blood pressure value and the pulse rate of a subject to be examined are measured in addition to the measuring of bioelectric impedance for the calculation of a visceral fat area and accuracy is improved. Moreover, a prevalence index is also computed from the computed visceral fat area and the body information of the subject and the onset possibility of a disease is judged by the visceral fat area.
