<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which relative positions of a display panel and a function panel are controlled with high precision and whose display quality and reliability are excellent. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is structured by stacking the display panel having display elements between a pair of substrates and the function panel having at least one substrate.
