<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a separation elastic member from interfering with an operation for an armature. <P>SOLUTION: In the rotation transmission device, a roller 5 is held between opposed faces in an outer ring 1 and an inner ring 2 by a retainer 4, a switch spring 20 is assembled to hold the roller 5 in a neutral position, the armature 14 is provided to be movable axial-directionally with respect to the retainer 4, but not to be relatively rotatable around an axis, a solenoid coil 13 is provided so as to suck the armature 14 and make it contact with a rotor 15, and a separation spring 9 is provided in an annular recess 10 provided in an opposed face 14a in a rotor 15 side of the armature 14. The annular recess 10 is formed within a range from an outside diameter side circumferential wall 10b contacting with the separation spring 9 to an inner circumferential edge part 14d, and a radial width w1 of the annular recess 10 is wider than a radial width w2 of the separation spring 9. The separation spring 9 is restrained from being caught in between the armature 14 and the rotor 15 and being bitten into the annular recess 10, and is prevented from interfering, since the separation spring 9 is evacuated to an inside diameter side when the separation spring 9 is compressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
