<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the supply of a current greater than required to a capacity control valve in a full stroke condition. <P>SOLUTION: The control method for a variable displacement compressor 8 uses the capacity control valve 13 which senses differential pressure between high pressure side pressure Pd and low pressure side pressure Ps in a cooling cycle 7a, for controlling a compression capacity. The method calculates a target duty value Dt1 for the capacity control valve 13 from a target evaporator blowout temperature TMeva and an actual evaporator blowout temperature Teva, calculates driving torque Trq2 of the compressor 8 as upper limit driving torque Trq2 at the time when assuming that the variable capacity compressor 8 is in the full stroke condition from the high pressure side pressure Pd, and also calculates estimated driving torque Trq1 of the compressor 8 from an actual control current value Isolc. When the estimated driving torque Trq1 is smaller than the upper limit driving torque value Trq2, the target duty value Dt1 is an output duty value Dtc, and when the estimated driving toque Trq1 is not smaller than the upper limit driving torque value Trq2, duty value Dt2 calculated from the upper limit driving torque Trq2 is an output duty value Dtc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
