HEAD PROTECTION AIRBAG DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deploy an airbag between an occupant's head part and a car body side part without being caught by a stored seat for an occupant to be seated.

SOLUTION: A non-expansion part 65 provided on the airbag 16 is devised to enter between a headrest 34A of a stored third row seat 34 and a C pillar garnish 24. That is, there is no cell at a portion between the headrest 34A and the C pillar garnish 24 in the airbag 16 and it is made into the non-expansion part 65. Consequently, the airbag 16 in the middle of deployment is never caught by the headrest 34A.
