PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burden on an operation of setting image reading processing conditions and a reading operation. SOLUTION: A job template registering tool 80 registers a job template 3 in which a processing command for acquiring an image of reading processing conditions of a scanner 100 based on the performance information of a PC 200 and an execution order thereof are recorded into the scanner 100. The scanner 100 executes a scanner processing command 1 recorded in the job template 3 to scan a reading original 6, and transmits an intermediate image file 4 and a transfer job template 3c1 recording a PC processing command 1 and a scanner processing command 2 to the PC 200. The PC 200 executes the PC processing command 1 to apply image processing to the intermediate image file 4, adds a transfer job template 3c2 recording the scanner processing command 2 to the intermediate image file 4, and re-transmits the file to the scanner 100.
