PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a lens accessory by fixing a connection adapter to a projection lens by screws and preventing the connection adapter from falling even when an external force is unexpectedly applied to the lens accessory. SOLUTION: The connection adapter 12 has a cylindrical shape with a female screw 31 formed on the inner wall thereof, and an annular flat part 32 is formed on the adapter facing the projection lens 11, and a plurality of screw through-holes 33 are radially formed in the flat part 32. A recessed lightening part 34 constituted of an inner-peripheral-side cylindrical surface and an outer-peripheral-side cylindrical surface is provided on the front surface side of the projection lens 11, and ribs 35 are radially formed at prescribed intervals in the lightening part 34. In the case of attaching the connection adapter 12 to the projection lens 11, the connection adapter 12 is assembled from the front side, then, four fixing screws 36 are inserted into the screw through-holes 33, and the connection adapter 12 is inserted into the lightening part 34, then, fixed to both inner and outer cylindrical surfaces by self-tapping.
