PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for mounting a secondary transfer device which is stably and surely operated in a simple configuration at a low cost so as to separate also a cleaning blade of a secondary transfer roller from the secondary transfer roller when separating the secondary transfer roller from an endless belt-like intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: The image forming device for mounting the secondary transfer device has the secondary transfer roller and a cleaning means. The image forming device fixes each position of a rotating shaft of the secondary transfer roller, a rotation support shaft of a cleaning holding part attaching a cleaning part in the cleaning means, and a fixed pin of the other end of a biasing spring hooking one end on the cleaning holding part on a casing of the secondary transfer device. The image forming device moves the casing downward with the end of the secondary transfer, and contacts the lower end of the cleaning holding part on the contact member of the image forming device body through the hole of the casing to separate the secondary transfer roller from the endless belt-like intermediate transfer body so as to separate also the cleaning part from the secondary transfer roller.
