PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device capable of suppressing entrance of foreign matter in liquid into a gap between a through hole of a fixing member and a shaft part. SOLUTION: Inflow of foreign matter included in a fuel 12 into an internal space of the through-hole 2a and entrance thereof into the gap between the through hole 2a and the shaft part 3a can be suppressed by providing a cover 4. Consequently, a fuel level gage 1 capable of guaranteeing smooth rotation of a magnet holder 2 can be provided. Since a constitution is adopted, wherein the cover 4 is sandwiched between an arm 6 and the magnet holder 2 and fixed to the magnet holder 2, a fixing structure of the cover 4 can be simplified, and assembly man-hours for the fuel level gage 1 can be reduced.
