The supercharger has a compressor fitting (4), which is connected with a charge air manifold. A flow absorber (2), which is arranged in airflow of supercharged air, reduces acoustic emission in an intake line of an internal combustion engine. The compressor fitting is connected with a hollow body (3), which accommodates the flow absorber, using a flange connection (5) where the hollow body is provided at its end section, which is turned away from the compressor fitting, with ripple fitting (9) for the charge air manifold.
