A pressure variation in an accumulation chamber is reduced by decreasing the oil supply rate of a supply pump to suppress a discharge pressure variation. A supply pump (1) performs suction and pressure-feed of a fuel by reciprocating a plunger (4) by the rotation of a cam (11) so as to alternately repeat the suction stroke and the pressure-feed stroke. In the supply pump, the cam profile of the cam (11) is so set that the period of the pressure-feed stroke is longer than the period of the suction stroke. The portion of the cam profile corresponding to the pressure-feed stroke is so set as to be a cam profile of almost constant velocity.
