A control system of trunk-lid opening for a vehicle is provided to open and fix a trunk lid at a desired place as well as to open the trunk lid fully by placing a fixing unit at one side of a gas lifter using an ER(Electro-Rheological) fluid. A control system of trunk-lid opening for a vehicle comprises an ER fluid fixing unit, a trunk lid opening and closing sensor(22), and an opening degree fixing switch(24). The ER fluid fixing unit has a damper rod(12) expanded by a piston slid in a cylinder(10), and is controlled by an ECU(20) placed at an end of the cylinder of the damper rod to limit the expansion work of the damper rod selectively. The trunk lid opening and closing sensor transfers the information of the opening and closing of the trunk lid. The opening degree fixing switch is placed in the trunk and connected with the ECU electrically to fix the opened degree of the trunk lid. The ER fluid fixing unit includes a second cylinder(14), peripheral protrusions(18), and an ER fluid(16).
