<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventry management system capable of sending an exact instruction for replenishment delivery before inventories run short by enablingg a center to comprehend inventory quantity existing in automatic DVD rental machines installed in respective places in real time. <P>SOLUTION: This system manages article inventories for every automatic DVD rental machine in real time by connecting the respective automatic DVD rental machines on-line. The system for linking the automatic DVD rental machines so as to be able to comprehend the existence/absence of inventories and automatically instruct to inventories to a delivering person before inventories are lent out (inventories run out) performs linkage among center equipment, each automatic DVD rental machine and a handy terminal carried by the delivering person about specifications that can not be provided by the existing system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
