<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the screen display of an application window between an application mode and a presentation mode without limiting an application to be an object and to prevent the erroneous recognition of an operation mode. <P>SOLUTION: The presentation apparatus holds component data including the kinds, positions and sizes of components of a selection image range under display and the selection rule of the components to change a plotting state during a presentation operation.
