<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely remove a malodor component in gas such as exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a gas path 1, a water supply means 21 which is arranged to face the gas path 1, and a malodor treatment agent 18 of the gas arranged in the gas path 1. The malodor treatment agent 18 contains light burnt magnesite and/or light burnt brucite. The malodor treatment agent 18 contains ceramic for far infrared ray radiation. The gas G passing through the gas path 1 is efficiently deodorized.
