<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate and reproducible check-bite method. <P>SOLUTION: Occlusion chips 1 made of resin or the like are attached to cover artificial tooth faces of left/right molars of an upper jaw denture 2a. The upper/lower jaw dentures are mounted in the oral cavity of a patient, the thickness of the chips are adjusted so that the artificial teeth 3b facing the left/right chips uniformly abut thereon respectively and then, a recording material 7 is injected into a clearance between the upper/lower jaw dentures with their occluded with each other, and is hardened to record the lower jaw position. The upper/lower jaw dentures are taken out from the oral cavity, occluded and fixed in the recorded state, and remounted on an occlusion device with their occluded with each other. Then, the chips 1 are removed therefrom, and the occlusion state of the artificial teeth is checked and adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
