PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for solving problems such as noise and wear of components, since, in some engines, there is a need to mount a high-pressure direct injection pump in an end of a camshaft or above a pulley of a transmission, and not directly in a cylinder head. SOLUTION: The transfer pump for high-pressure petrol injection is a type provided with a piston 10 sending out hydraulic liquid into a deformable bellows 14. In the transfer pump, deformation of the bellows 14 in a cylindrical chamber filled with fuel causes an effect of supplying the fuel at a high pressure, and a cam 5 provided with a lobe 6 is supported by a crankshaft 1. Wholes of mechanical portions of driving and crank mechanisms are immersed in oil of an oil portion of the transfer pump. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
