PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily switch the display language of comics especially and to improve efficiency in language learning or the like for instance as regards a multilingual display device for displaying comics at electronic terminal equipment and easily switching and displaying many languages. SOLUTION: A changeover switch 4 is switched on the basis of signals <SW> input from an input part 2, the points of a pointer 7 are counted and a frame number is switched on the basis of signals <FWD> and <BCK>, and words of a desired language are added to comic images and displayed.
